I would like to take this opportunity to extend a sincere appreciation to all stake holders, the share holders, and the investors for your continuous supports.

Viewed in general terms, the global economy, inclusive of the Japanese market may look as gradually recovered from the slowdown, however the business environment surrounding the retail industry is still in the tough situation as the domestic consumption is still in downturn, it is not in the full recovery state yet.

Given such domestic situation, our group aggressively deployed the pharmacies and the new urban style drug stores nationwide, with an intention to expand the business scale and gain the profitability in mind. This effort is also supported by our initiative to make an improvement on the business process through the group reorganization.

This year is marked a milestone for us as we are listed on the 1st Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange Market in April, and subsequently on the Sapporo Securities Exchange in May. We are striving furthermore to increase our corporate value.
